Before we went to Singapore we spent a lot of time putting together a playlist that repped both Hip Hop and our home, The Bay Area. Nothing reps The Bay Area Hip Hop scene like Hyphy. And at the very top of our Hyphy playlist was this song, “Lose It” by Too Short and Mistah FAB.
This song is freakin off the chain. Our Singaporean students loved it. We love it. We knew our hometown students would love it. So we brought it back to Cali, added on a bit and made it our first dance of the Summer 2009 session.
