I’m looking to enroll in a night/weekend dance class, preferably Jazz, Hip-Hop or something of the sort. I have danced before so I also don’t want something that is to beginner. Anywhere in the Houston area, extending out to Conroe would be great! Also, if they offer a summer program, that would also be very nice!

Hi,

The best I can do for you is give you www.local.com, www.local.yahoo.com, www.citysearch.com, and www.yellowpages.com. Look for a studio with a clean website, strict dress code and etiquette standards, and, of course, an adult class. Good luck.♥

I’m almost twenty years old and the most I have danced was in a dance class in high school. I really enjoyed it and right now I’m taking a break from college. I would love to learn ballet, lyrical, or hip hop, but I’m not sure if it’s too late in my life to be in a beginner dance class. I also have no idea how to go about joining a dance class where I wouldn’t be with little kids learning how to dance.

youre not too old! im 18 and thought that it was too late for me, but there are adult beginner classes that you can take. the oldest person in my hip hop class is about 40! so at 21 youre still young.
do a google search for paces in your area that have adult beginner classes. make sure its beginner to start off with, otherwise youll be with people who all have a lot of experience in dance and you might get discouraged if you cant keep up.

anyway, go for it! dancing is so much fun.
